Faith and Belief pt 1 - How to Develop and Exercise faith!

Challenge Accepted?

Practice makes perfect. Well, at least much better than when you began!

Experimenting with recipes and practicing in the kitchen, you become a better cook.

When you start riding a bicycle, practicing is the only way for you to excel to the point you pick up the bike and off you go!

Faith is the same way.

The two things needed to develop a stronger faith are these :

  1.  Clear the download channel
  2.  Act

That’s it!

We must be ready to receive the inspiration that comes from our God, the source of all life!

In this episode, you will be inspired to do just that!

The challenges this:

First- Clear your mind during periods of the day and Lison. You can pray or meditate to help clear all of the noise, but the most important part is to listen. Tune into the channel of inspiration .

Second-Act. Act on what you were inspired to do.

It takes practice to tune in to the channel and act on what you are inspired to do because you will wonder if it came from source or from your mind.

But practice tuning into that channel makes pretty much perfect turning into that channel. Well, at least much better than when you began!

IDEAS FOR THE CHALLENGE

  • Say kind words with people for seven days. See how you feel after those days.
  • Buy flowers. Be still and feel inspired with who to give them too.
  • Smile at everyone you see, or you feel inspired to smile with.
  • Go for a walk in nature. Listen to what nature and God share with you. Are you supposed to touch that tree? Pick up a rock? Put your feet in the stream? Just listen and do.
  • Consider pondering and praying about your working environment. Do you get inspiration on what you can do differently? Do you get inspiration on who to be more kind to?
  • Coworkers, tell them something nice every day and see what changes. But listen for what to say and what to ask.
  • Be still and listen to what comes after prayer.

And then act.
